My name is Nicholas Pels. I’ve loved video games for as long as I can remember, and I’ve had a passion for programming since the first time I wrote a line of Java in high school.
I grew up in the suburbs of the San Francisco Bay Area, and I attended UC Berkeley from 2017 to 2021, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences.
Along the way, I had an opportunity to get into the field of game development with an internship. Since then, I have been working on games non-stop, both professionally and in my free time.
While Unity is my home base and area of expertise, I’ve always had a craving to learn new things and expand my horizons. I relish any challenge to pick up a new technology and explore everything there is to know about it.
Apart from games and programming, I also have a deep love for storytelling. I spend much of my spare time writing fiction, or working on the D&D campaign that I’ve been running for over 4 years.
